I’m a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University, advised by Prof. Tianfu Wu. I received my B.S. degree in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2014.
Before joining Prof. Wu’s group, I have around three years reseach experience on beyond-CMOS device simulation, under the supervision of Prof. Ki Wook Kim at NC State University. My research was focusing on extremely low energy magnetic devices design and simulation for conventional information processing and neuromorphic computing.
My current research focuses on computer vision and machine learning, in particular novel deep convolutional neural network architectures, resource efficient learning, and explainable learning model and its application to visual recognition tasks such as object detection and scene understanding.
