I’m an applied scientist at Amazon, developing state-of-the-art streaming automatic speech recogonition (ASR) service for Amazon AWS AI Lex team. From Nov. 2019 to 2021, I was a research scientist at Salesforce Research (Palo Alto, CA). Prior to that, I obtained my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University in 2019, advised by Prof. Tianfu Wu. My Ph.D. thesis was on Neural Architectures Design and Search for Deep Learning and Continual Learning. I also had three years reseach experience on nano-magnetic/topological insulator based device simulation, under the supervision of Prof. Ki Wook Kim at NC State University. I received my B.S. degree in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2014.
